Clifftop views, an infinity pool that melts into the Mediterranean, and a classic enclosed photo booth that slotted into one of the island's most exclusive venues as if it had always been there.
The Venue
Tucked into the cliffs above Xarraca Bay on the north coast, Six Senses Ibiza is the sort of place that makes you forget the island has a nightlife. It's all pine-scented air, private coves and terraces that step down towards the water. The infinity pool sits right at the edge of the cliff, the beach club is carved into the rock below, and the whole thing runs on a quiet, understated luxury that's a world away from the south of the island.
For a wedding, it's about as dramatic as Ibiza gets — and that's exactly why couples choose it. The venue has a reputation for hosting celebrations that feel intimate despite the scale of the setting. When we were asked to bring a photo booth here, we knew the booth had to match the room, not shout over it.
The Event
The couple wanted their guests to have something to do during the lulls — the gap between the ceremony and dinner, the pause while the band set up, the hour after the cake when people start drifting between tables. A photo booth fills those moments without anyone having to organise it. Guests wander over when they fancy it, take their strips, and drift back to the party.
We set up in one of the indoor spaces off the main terrace: a room with a dark ceiling, soft amber lighting and plenty of space for a queue to form without getting in anyone's way. The venue team were brilliant — access was straightforward, power was where we needed it, and we were in and out of the setup well before the first guests arrived.
By the end of the night the booth had run non-stop for three hours. The guest book was full. And the couple went home with a stack of strips, a digital folder of everything, and the kind of candid photos a photographer can't get because nobody's posing for them.
The Booth
At a venue like Six Senses, the booth has to hold its own visually without fighting the space. We went with the classic enclosed booth in a deep burgundy finish — a proper cabin with a curtain, the kind that photographs beautifully in low light and feels like a piece of the room rather than a piece of kit.
The enclosed format is the one we recommend most for weddings, and this event was a good example of why. The curtain gives guests permission to be daft. Grandparents who wouldn't dream of posing in front of a crowd will happily pull faces behind a curtain. The prints come out in seconds, one for the guest and one for the book, and the book becomes the thing the couple actually keep.
We provided the full Photo Booth package: three hours, unlimited photos, instant prints, custom overlay with the couple's names and date, props, guest book and a digital folder afterwards.
